In our battery workshop, we develop and build complex battery systems, ranging from prototypes to fully customized energy solutions.

Job description
As a Specialist battery assembly & Workshop coordinator, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and assembling complex battery systems, including prototypes and custom solutions. You’ll also oversee smooth workshop operations by tracking schedules, monitoring inventory, and ensuring timely procurement of materials.

Working closely with your team, you’ll maintain a keen focus on quality and efficiency. Your innovative ideas will contribute to the ongoing advancement of our battery solutions.

Your tasks and responsibilities
✔ Design, develop, and assemble complex battery systems and prototypes
✔ Coordinate workshop activities and maintain efficient scheduling
✔ Monitor stock levels and proactively identify purchasing needs
✔ Collaborate with the purchasing department to ensure materials are available on time
✔ Lead and support colleagues in the workshop
✔ Propose innovative solutions and product improvements
✔ Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards

Requirements
✔ MBO+/HBO (or Bachelor’s) level education in a technical field such as Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Mechanical Engineering
✔ Experience with battery technology, assembly, and energy storage is a plus
✔ Experience with 3D design software is an advantage
✔ Hands-on mentality and technical insight for building complex battery systems
✔ Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain oversight
✔ Excellent communication skills; a team player who can also work independently
✔ A problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
✔ Fluency in Dutch (both spoken and written) is required.
